Pamela Mehew (McClary)
Pamela Mehew, RN, was born on September 17, 1958. She died August 28, 1998 in Tulsa. Born of parents, Glenn Mehew and Darlene Boney, in Little Rock, AR. Pam attended Tulsa Public Schools, Bell Elementary, Eli Whitney Jr. High and graduated Nathan Hale High School in 1976. She worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for a Tulsa ambulance company while attending Tulsa Junior College. She completed the nursing program and received her Associate Degree in 1983.
Pam continued her career as a Registered Nurse for many years in Tulsa, bringing to that profession her compassionate and caring nature. A strong believer in the value of continuing education, Pam was working on her Master's in Gerontology and was most recently employed by Children's Medical Center.
Pam is survived by: her beloved son, Daniel Williams; husband, Larry McClary; step-father, Edward Boney; her brother, Paul Mehew; her sister, Patti Dickman; as well as many extended family members; close friends; and her little cat, Phoebe.
Service was held Monday, 10 a.m., by Stanley Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service in Enid, OK later that same day. The Pamela Mehew McClary memorial fund has been established at Valley Hope. Donations may be sent to Valley Hope, 100 South Jones, Cushing, OK. Pam's family and friends will always remember the beautiful, warm and loving mother, wife, sister and friend they knew Pam to be. She will be dearly, dearly missed.
